i see im the first poster on this board. good. im glad i can warn all of those who dident watched this boring not even scary crap. there litterly nothing in this film. boredom mixed with terrible acting and cringe worthy script. the 2 who play the leading roles are so bad. the one who played the guy is such a terrible actor. i did not believed even one scene that he was in. none. dude looked like a stoner who dont even interested in the story the whole time. when i saw the opening scene i thought to myself. ''wow that looks so bad to the point it is hilarious'' yes. the first scene i can say it was so bad its good so when the movie started that what was i expected. because this is the ring. its the same as scream. its a stupid over the top fairy tale. but the movie takes itself so seariously and yet its so terrible. 1/10 this is what this movie deserve

It was a fairly by the numbers sequel, however as someone who enjoys a bad horror flick, I found enough here to at least enjoy it as a popcorn fodder outing.

Without writing any major spoilers, the opening plane scene should have been scrapped, and the reveal about Samara's lineage was right out of the big book of horror movie cliches. Having said that I liked the idea of having the tape changing/revealing more, even if the technical explanation was inane. So if you managed to sit through the American Ring 2 and thought "I could watch another sequel", this isn't that much worse.
