It'd be hard to dispute that this movie is terrible, it's just random scene after random scene of Tom Green doing something idiotic and immature. Having said that though, the sheer lack of care this movie puts toward being legitimate is very funny. It's very juvenile humor but also very unique, you honestly don't see humor like this in many other films. And being totally honest, I laughed out loud during most of the movie

shareI just watched "Bad Grandpa" SPOILER ALERT for Band Grandpa.. and on that board FGF gets brought up a lot as a movie that's "worse than" Bad GP. What? FGF is awesome compared to that. There is more of a story in FGF than BG. IMHO, there's an actual plot, whereas in Bad Grandpa it's just random scene and cliche plot : Super up-tight guy with super cling fiancé is tricked into a road trip of sorts and somehow decides at the end he's in love with new girl, complete with said fiancé after being told to piss off saying "oh yeah, well I banged your cousin (Hangover)!" Totally unoriginal and the juvenile humor is nowhere near as funny as in FGF. In FGF the humor is at least, as OP stated "unique." In BG...trust me, it is nowhere near unique...down to multiple scenes of penises drawn with sharpies on drunk people's faces. I like silly humor as much as I like dark and imaginative humor, but when I watch FGF I still laugh out loud. Bad Grandpa is even worse for one BIG reason....friggin DeNiro has stooped this low...and yes, people on that board, a LOT of them, pointed this out. He's got enough money, but at least Marlon Brando was aware when he was slumming it out "my God man...do you have any pride left..." he said, or something to that affect.
So yeah, I had to come on here and defend FGF's honor. And I can appreciate the OP for saying it is terrible but unique. And that it made him laugh (or her). FGF makes me laugh. Plain and simple, still to this day when I see "X-Ray cat" and the "banana getting a job." If you haven't seen Bad Grandpa yet, trust me...you already have.
Hell, even with DeNiro people are calling it HORRIBLE. Imagine it without him...
