I watched this movie in a theatre with my ex (my gf at the time) and one other couple there and not once did anyone laugh and the only part I even tried to laugh at was with him rolling around with the dead deer. It was an awful movie. I kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't.

First time I saw Napoleon Dynamite I thought it was a complete waste. Then I watched it again, and again and now I friggin love it! I've loved FGF since the first time, as a bunch of us just couldn't stop laughing at X-Ray Cat and the Banana that got the telephone repairman job, etc...

It's one of my favorite films. I don't get a lot of the hate when people say "it has no plot" or "just stupid scene after stupid scene." IMHO, it actually has a plot and it moves quite well. I can only think they're taking it too seriously or something...it is what it is. A silly movie. Can someone actually say FGF isn't ten times more creative than say "Date Movie" or any of the recent spoof movies that were constantly coming out a few years ago?
