this one is better than alien, aliens, alien 3.
because it is more tactical, sophisticated. sidekicks are cool.
has more sense of humour, and more interesting.
I don't think it's the best, but I don't think it's horrible either.

It's a failure in every way. Even Alien 3, a executive-muddled nightmare made by a then-rookie, manages to be leagues better than this dog turd.

I have to agree. So many great views of the aliens, the alien hybrid, and Ripley as Super/Mom-Dad Ripley.

I am actually starting to get concerned with humanity if half of the replies on this thread are genuine and not trolls (although the OP is clearly a troll, not sure about others).
the best humor? what humor? I mean there are repeated attempts at cheesy humor that are fairly awful, yes, but still. This doesn't even have the level of humor of something like "Predator" where humor was a pretty minor thing.

Absolutely retarded plot. Alien Resurrection makes Alien 3 (at least the director's cut) look like a masterpiece and that's saying a lot
there's no sense of dread or concern for the characters, and the effects somehow are the worst dated of the original 4 films despite being the newest of them all
she fell through a hole, and was never seen again
