The old IMDb Psycho board fully reproduced
Here's the link:
https://filmboards.com/board/10054215/
The site appears to have (in full) almost all individual film and TV boards and most general boards but no name boards (let alone a structured database of film info linking titles and names and all the rest of it).
It's a great resource.
I haven't tried this yet but if you use Chrome as your web-browser the site also offers you the choice of installing an extension that effectively inserts the filmboards.com boards back at the bottom of IMDb pages. If you use the site like *that* then no database function at filmboards.com itself is no problem since you get to keep using IMDb's! This is pretty amazing if it works. Although patching directly into IMDb in this way does deny you the lover-scorned satisfactions of kicking IMDb to the curb, perhaps it does give you the continued-benefits satisfactions of someone who's been technically broken up with but you still get maintained in the style to which you are accustomed by them and still get to have sex with them, etc..
Changing metaphors: the ignominious fall of IMDb's message-boards really is starting to feel like the collapse of a great empire with all the chaos and contending sub-imperial powers and population transfers and refugee flows that that usually entails.
