Drinking/Eating Games To Do During Movies

Eat 30 white castle sliders, five french fries, and four large cherry cokes (diet cokes for the people who need to diet) while watching Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle

Any other movies where people do these games/challenges?

I have still not done the above yet. I have ordered 30 White Castle sliders and it takes me like a weekend to finish the entire crave case.

reply

Never heard of that one, it sounds like a lot of food to eat in 2 hours.
The drinking games I am familiar with are like, take a shot every time someone says a certain word or every time someone gets shot, etc.

reply

I guess it would be more of like a challenge.

reply

I made myself crystalblue rock candy sticks for the Breaking Bad finale. And I eat during every TWD episode a big meal. Dont know if that counts.

reply

It could be anything. I have even went as far as eating or drinking what I have seen in shows/movies, while watching those shows/movies.

I use to watch the show series The O.C. In one of the episodes a character gets a 7-7. If you do not know what that is, it is basically an alcoholic beverage combining 7 up and Seagrams 7. 6 ounces of 7 up and one ounce of Seagrams. It was my first time ever having that, which was odd.

reply

good idea! sometimes you get the appetite as soon as something is shown. If its available - why not? there even is a "hannibal" cookbook out there for freaky people.

reply

Well, it brings more to the table than just popcorn before movies or in-your-own-home cinema.

reply

Drink a White Russian everytime the Dude in 'Big Lebowski' drinks one. Never played it, but it makes sense.

reply

Damn! You're talking major gas and abdominal distress, arvin!

😎

reply

And that is why it is a challenge. The hardest part is not having the urgency, but the smell. Try eating a crave case and then hiding it when you have to pass gas and you stink up the entire area around you. Unfortunately, sliders smell good when eating them and toxic when they come out the other end. I have had a hard time covering those passes every time I have eaten them. This is why, if I ever did this challenge, I would have to do it on a Saturday. If I did this on a Sunday and it had to come out on a Monday, I would fear for my coworkers and other people in public, around me.

You're a wild man, arvin.

reply

I can be pretty extreme. No one would suspect it from the way I look on the outside.

reply

No pun intended but, you'd have to pass those burgers out once those around you would smell 'em. They have a distinct smell remember, and I'd definitely ask for 5/6 or 7.

reply

Well we can make the challenge a bit easier. How about you and a significant other or a friend finish those burgers/fries/drinks within a movie?

I usually watch the movie alone and it had never hit me until now that I should have tried that challenge. Yeah, try enticing a dog with a chicken leg on a fishing pole, that is how I feel. Because I am in a good amount of debt right now, I have to wait and wait and wait now.

reply

I'm entirely free of debt, but still live as if in debt, if that makes any sense at all. I'm actually on the other end of the spectrum now; I hate letting go of my money and after the rounds of should-I or shouldn't-Is I usually don't, including venturing out to movie theaters. MovieChat's about the only crowded place you'll 'see' me.

reply

And that is the point I am transitioning to. All those years in the past when I ate out and found out that I was actually losing my money. You only get so much gratification from food and that money is gone. The way to save is to always live like you are in debt because you are. You are always vulnerable to a job loss, emergency, or some life obstacle. I failed to see that and now I understand it. Good thing it happened when I was still in my 20s. There are people who still have no savings for retirement.

reply

If only my youngest & dil could see it this way, and they're in their 20s too. I hate the fact I'm still indebted by having to pay homestead/taxes each year, as relatively low as it is. It just ain't fair! I don't like having anything which could be used as leverage against me, which is my house. Oh, hell, don't get me started!

I agree with you though, and try not to dwell on all the money I wasted just because something was convenient, including the 33 times I've moved which would be about 1thou or more every time. BUT, I have no regrets because it was ALL a learning experience.

reply

It makes you wonder. If one were to actually save all the money they earned from their first job to all jobs to the end of their career, on things that were not a waste; they may all be millionaires by retirement. Ah heck, who wants that? I like instant gratification!

reply

My significant other lives on instant gratification. I'm plagued by buyer's remorse, so I give him an allowance each week. It doesn't hurt to lift morale though. I did just get him a Bunn coffee pot. The man needs an IV run for his coffee. And just today, after comparing prices for 3 hrs, I got the side steps my truck so badly needed for this old woman.

and No, I wouldn't know how to live a millionaire. I'm too kindhearted. I'd end up giving it all away.

@MovieManCin2

Really! They don't call 'em POOT burgers for nothing.

😎

reply

And that is why they call them sliders....

But of course, things do back up for obvious reasons....

Speaking of which, have you seen the hilarious new comedy "Brockmire: on IFC? One of the great lines comes the day after Brockmire has been drinking Sambuca:

"Just for the record, Sambuca tastes better on the way out."

😎

reply

I would have seen it last year, but I had to get rid of cable this year.

reply

Oh how I wish I could get White Castle right now, but so indebted to credit cards and monthly bills! UGH!
