Made for TV movie database

I was wondering if there is a database somewhere online that lists all the made for tv movies in regards to what channel they are from(abc, cbs, lifetime, syfy)

This is something I have been wondering about myself. I have seen sites dedicated to the tv movies of one actor. And other such sites with similar themes, but never anything quite as comprehensive as what you're suggesting. It would be quite helpful and I've searched for similar sites to no avail. I haven't even found a site that lists all "movies of the week" in one place.

I just picked up some books that chronicle from 1964-2009 Movies Made for Television by Alvin H. Marill. They are a great reference. Sadly, he passed away in 2010 and I'm trying to find the info on movies in this time period now(2010-the present) but it is extremely frustrating due to the lack of information available.

I started emailing the press relations departments of the various channels to see if they can help point me in the right direction

Some of these "lost" tv movies have a good bit of history with them. They sometimes feature actors in once in a lifetime opportunity roles. In the sense that the actors were able to stretch their skills in a way that being typecast or starring in feature films never satisfied. You'd think that this information would be more valuable given that tv roles kept many actors afloat and were sometimes the last work of deceased actors. Most glaringly for some their television film endeavors included their best work.

Take a look at what I found after responding to your post last night:http://www.tvtango.com/series/abc_movie_of_the_week/episodes

I hadn't fully explored it yet but for me it's a starting point. I explored enough to see that the "movie of the week" became a network airing of feature films after awhile.
