I am a film student and i am currently creating a project on Disneys early annimation and investigating what technology they used, if anyone has any information on this please would you comment, thanks.

Yeah, I was gonna say Multiplane. Also Fantasound, used for Fantasia, was the first multi-channel surround sound system.
