What a unique voice. I honestly think he sang Hank Williams Sr songs better than Hank Sr (witness 'Kaw-Liga' and 'Honky-Tonk Blues).

One of my favorite singers since I was born; grew up with his albums on wax and 8-track.

Very handsome fella too, when he was younger. Saw him on re-runs of 'The Wilburn Bros Show,' and he was striking. As he's aged, though, his skin tone has kind of blurred.

But I don't judge my favorite singers on their looks. I try not to judge ANYBODY on their looks, but I'm only sub-human, and I obviously have my own failings.
