Does anyone know of any shows similar to True Detective?

Nothing comes close..

That is the greatest single season of television.

You might like Fargo--the series, not the movie. The first season was excellent.

There is nothing like it. Incredible writing and acting. Totally original for a TV series. I would recommend diving into The Wire. Also excellent.

…if you’re still looking for a show similar to True Detective, I would say that Mare of Easttown has a very similar vibe…
