Skyrim

Does Game of Thrones completely rip off the Skyrim storyline? I've never watched game of thrones but I briefly paid attention to someone trying to explain it. Even the books that you can collect in Skyrim are similar to The Game of Thrones Books. Is Game of Thrones somehow based on Skyrim or any of the elder scrolls games?

That would be so embarrassing if it turns out they stole from the game. All of those Emmy's. It would be a disaster.
