Roswell: Mogul "explanation" put to rest - again

In July, 1947 the Roswell, the New Mexico AAF Base released to the public the information that they were in possession of a "crashed flying disc", and since then, the US government has subsequently performed ornate acrobatics (hoaxes, really) in an attempt to discredit the original report. Perhaps the silliest exercize in debunkery is the "Mogul Spy/Listening Balloon" faux-explanation, as the following article discusses:

Yes, the project mogul explanation has been debunked.

However, please keep in mind that almost everything you think you know about Roswell is wrong. Roswell is a dead case. We have reached the end of being able to find out "the truth" of what happened because almost everyone involved is dead and few talked. What we have now is countless garbage, lies and fantasy that has been invented and tacked onto this case. There are so many "witnesses" that have been proven to have been lying over the years.

What we do know is that something crashed. The original people involved said it was material, not bodies. Claims of bodies would only surface in the 1980s.

So we will likely never know exactly what it was.

Sadly, I agree with what you say... we'll never know any new information unless something changes, and I can't realistically expect that anything will change...

All the officers and witnesses are old or dead. The files are locked up and buried. It would take an insider
