Recipe For Brightly Colored Blood?

For some reason, I've always liked the look of the blood that was used in the first violently "graphic" movies of the 60's and 70's like the Peckinpah movies ("The Wild Bunch", for one), "Dawn of the Dead", the Argento movies, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and several movies from around the world, including dramas. There is something about the borderline orange, thick blood that is quite cinematic.

Anyone know what was the recipe for that kind of blood? I heard about Kensington Gore used in the Hammer Horror movies, I don't know if it's the same recipe.

Jriif87. There used to be a blood guide on the net called Eejit's Guide to Blood.
If you can't find it, I have a copy I could send. If I can find it.
