Apple TV. Because I can stream music and video wirelessly through AirPlay. Plus I can mirror everything from my iPad to my TV. It also has hundreds of Internet radio stations.

I still have my VCR hooked up to my 13th tv

A Kuro...you lucky man, the finest television ever made. I would do horrible, disgusting things to acquire a Kuro and then I would hug it every night before bed.

HTPC, all my content is streamed from my localized server allowing me to completely cut cable and have a much nicer customizable UI.
Boxee and XBMC will set you free; as for movies, same Blu-Ray quality with no discs.

Always have to have my television plugged into my stereo. I cannot bear the crappy sound of factory speakers.

The only device I'll ever really want to hook to my TV, would be a nice high quality A/V receiver.

If you have the means, whenever you set up an entertainment/multimedia center, I'd suggest doing some extra research when you decide on a receiver, so you fully understand its functions and capabilities.

It should be the control center of your entire entertainment system. You only need to run a single HDMI cable from your receiver's "HMDI out" jack to one of your TV's "HDMI in" jacks...then hook the rest of your components to the appropriate input jacks on your receiver and everything will be much more organized and easy to use.

 If you're going to be nit-picky, yeah. I use a DVDO iScan Duo scaler as a 8x2 video switcher, and feed the S/PDIF output to my DAC, and on to the speakers. Those of us who use components sorta look down at receiver owners... 

But I think the OP's question was about the source devices. IJS

Me, I have a couple of TiVo DVRs, a DISH Hopper DVR, a Roku 3, a Micca digital video server, even a VCR w/ TBC to play the occasional (S)VHS tape.

No game consoles; I don't play games.
