I saw Patrick Hamilton's ROPE.

Considering when the book was written, it has good dialogues. Unfortunately, there's not enough suspense and the pacing is bad. In this version, I liked Jorge Arecheta's performance. The rest of the cast (except for Ana Reeves in a surprisingly (she's the most famous member of the cast) small role) is over-the-top.
