Famous sea life painters?
Specifically the bright vibrant ones like Hawaii with whales and dolphins, etc.?

Ivan Aivazovsky. Not really what your asking for, but I like his seascapes.
shareIt's not really the sort of art one would get famous for as it is quite kitsch and a tad gauche.
If you want a real sealife painter look no further than Turner. Though it's not really what you're after.
Wyland?
Very artificial but popular.
Turner, Friedrich, Bierstadt, even Winslow Homer amazing.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
shareI never said it wasn't lol. I said it was kitsch and gauche. Just because it is these things it doesn't mean it has no value. It's just not the sort of art one really gets famous for. Heard of Tretchikoff? Probably not but his "green lady" was extremely popular in the 70s. I love it as it's the very essence of kitsch. Tasteful??? Well that's up to the viewer to decide. This is sort of art is similar. You see then all the time but the artists aren't particularly famous
