TV catastrophes and cancellations

I'm still trying to figure out if I heard correctly but now I'm reading it. After currently being the highest rated drama show of the year, The Leftovers was only given one 3rd, and final season. I really hate being the guy who bitches and trolls, and I hope I'm not coming off too strongly this way, but this show holds my vote for the Golden Globe in a few categories, at least. Guess we'll still have the Blacklist, but even that gets tiresome sometimes. The Walking Dead builds up and then has it's fillers and then we're left waiting for it's return until February. Supernatural is getting good again, finally. I tried to watch the 24 mini-series that came out but I couldn't forget that Kiefer is a d-bag and I didn't like Hannah McKay on Dexter either. At least the superhero shows kept my attention from time to time, but a show that I'm gonna miss almost as much as The Leftovers is Banshee. How could the creators do this? This is a great dark and gritty action show with a taste for violence that's more real than the Walking Dead(Which I still like yo watch, don't get me wrong) or half the tv shows on today. Guess I'll have to enjoy that the good shows will at least have an ending. Just sucks seeing them come and leave so fast while we get left with tv's 'leftovers' of a different sort and wait for the next great show to shine before walking the plank of cancellation.....R.I.P. Carnivale. The world will never know what your end was but it sure looked like it was building up to something along the lines of a masterpiece. Chopping block and all
