world "super" appeared?

Have there been any comics with what you consider would be a realistic or accurate take on what would actually happen?

Let's assume for argument's sake the superpower in question is evidenced or advertised widely enough that the government does not have the ability to hide the person and pretend they do not exist.

Thoroughly recommend Superman: Red Son. Also Watchmen (with regard to Dr Manhattan), Warren Ellis's Supergod, and Mark Millar's Superior.

"A big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff" The Tenth Doctor explains all.

Plenty of comics along those lines. Along with those already noted, there was Rick Veitch's Maximortal, Howard Chaykin's Power and Glory, and The Mighty.

All roads lead to truth if you're willing to travel honestly.
