How Many Other Long Time Fans Have Stopped Reading Marvel?

I literally had been reading most Marvel titles since the early 80's weekly. Now, I find myself going through withdrawals as I have dropped all but a few titles. I can't buy garbage any more yet I miss REAL Marvel. They seem so lost promoting "politically correct" agenda nonsense on top of telling bad stories. Replacing true characters with social justice mockeries no one wanted to see among other things.

I know their true sales numbers are way down. Some books are selling but it's to store owners that have to eat many a copy. Once that levels out, there has to be serious problems coming for Marvel publishing. Star Wars can't carry their whole line.

How many other long time Marvel Zombies have done the same thing? Just walk away sad.

I'm still reading Daredevil, Black Widow, Uncanny X-Men, Old Man Logan and Thanos. That's IT. I used to read 25+ books a month.

I started in the 60's for a year or two and then picked up the habit again in 1972 and continued until the early nineties. I've read a few major stories in recent years, but for the most part, I can't read most of Marvel's product.

As a former Marvel fan, I agree with you. I've read their stuff since about 1967, through about 1992. Since then? The (very) occasional storyline. But not many at all have been satisfying. And since the Secret Wars rehash, I've enjoyed nothing from Marvel Comics at all.

The flat-brimmed baseball cap is the modern-day dunce cap.

I stopped reading in the early 2010s. I lost interest and I don't like the idea of paying 4 bucks a copy.

I'm mainly a DC fan but I would buy Marvel every now and then. The only Marvel I buy now are occasional (old) second-hand back-issues.
