Should Denis Villeneuve direct a James Bond picture?

The new it guy in Hollywood.

Or is he just too cerebral for Bond?

reply

He could do it well, sure. Not sure if he should.

Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader.

reply

He has actually said he'd like to do a Bond film, but it would apparently be a quiet one.

He's an incredible director, but let's wait and see how his first mainstream big budget film in the Blade Runner sequel turns out before tapping him with more potenial blockbusters.

Even then, as pking alluded, Bond probably isn't something he should spend his time doing even though he'd likely do a great job.

reply

That might make for an interesting film.

reply

I don't really think he's a good fit.

I'll wait until I've seen BLADE RUNNER 2049 before I decide. If he can do justice to RS and PKD's vision of the future, I'll consider it.

I just wish they'd stuck with the title BLADE RUNNER DOWN.
