(SPOILERS) favorite scene in rogue one?

definitely vader destroying an entire rebel fleet. It was the most spectacular ass kicking of all time

I agree with you:

TO be more precise, the scene where vader cuts down a squad of rebel troopers with ease. It was the first time that we really got to see Vader in a battle situation and watching him in action was simply chilling

it was chilling, epic and all that i wanted from rogue one.i find that it ends the debate for people who think vader was not holding back during rotj. Think of how many prequel era jedi masters were cut down by multiple blaster shots during order 66. Vader was swatting them away like flies. And he had the presence of mind to use his force powers. There is no way that vader was not holding back.

My favorite isn't the most spectacular. It's the fight between the heroes and Krennic. The whole end sequences is rather awesome overall.

definitely vader destroying an entire rebel fleet. It was the most spectacular ass kicking of all time Yes, that's undoubtedly the most spectacular slaughter. I felt it didn't look as good as similar "going ham" stuff in The Empire Strikes Back, and that there were cringeworthy costume errors.

reply

Yeah, that. It was incredible.

Wow...

Yes, that scene was pretty dope, but I liked a lot of it. Everything with Chirrut for example. They need more Asian kats in the galaxy. The end reveal when Leia turns around and it was young Carrie Fisher--probably more powerful now because of her death.

And Jyn trying to get the actual Death Star plans, because in an age of flash drives and the cloud, they were looking for an actual disk by using some contraption that reminded me of trying to get a prize from one of those claw machines.

All of K2SO's retorts were enjoyable too.

I also love almost all of Chirrut's and K2SO's scenes.

May I just say this topic might have got better on the Rogue One boards?

reply

K2so is my favorite droid for sure.

He's actually an interesting storytelling device. Not being able to control what he says, gives him the ability to naturally comment in the situation, almost the ways fans and critics comment on the movie. He is, in some ways, the audience.

reply

That is true. 
He also went out like a champ, (they all did really) the only thing that sucks is we wont see more of him.
