What's so great about Marlon Brando?
His acting style is so over-the-top and theatrical. All his lines, facial expressions and body language are so forced.

Well that might be true if we talk about let's say the last 20-30 years of his career when he stopped giving a damn about his career and started to act like a total scumbag, but definitely not at the beggining of his career up until The Godfather (which was also an oustanding performance).
shareThe thing his acting his generally praised for is that it was substantially less theatrical than most contemporary actors at the time. He was a "method actor" who strove for intensity and realism.
