Can anybody tell me why Bhau killed Bhiku? It's quiet confusing. I've never managed to understand it. After he shoots him he says "I was waiting for the elections to finish, he messed up everything'.
Why was Bhau unhappy with him? He still won the elections. Was it because he didn't like his association with Satya?
The movie establishes that Bhiku, Narayana, and all of the other gangsters around whom the story revolves are doomed to die from the beginning. Satya's story is compelling because he alone has the chance to live - his love interest Vidya represents his chance at redemption and escape.
In Bhiku's case, he makes the decision to kill his rival knowing full well that his rival will kill him instead of he does nothing. Jhawle now knows that he has lost his control over Bhiku, and the entire gang by association, and therefore Bhiku is now an obstacle instead of an asset. So he eliminates him after winning the elections and securing his own power.

Ok thanks. I see your point. But why didn't Bhiku think about the consequences of his actions before he sent Satya to bump off that guy in the bar?. Initially that's the event that triggered this whole situation off in the first place.
shareBhiku's whole thing is that he's spontaneous and doesn't think through stuff. Suddenly doing that in the middle of the film would've been out of character for him.
