101 SCI-FI Movies You Must See Before You Die

Does anyone have this book and have you started to watch these movies?

I received this book for Christmas a few years ago and made a feeble attempt to start watching the movies. Now I'm back on track to try and watch them in chronological order!

First up... Voyage To The Moon (1902)

Fun to see early ideas of how technology would work and to see the progression of what we thought life outside of our planet would look like.

Fun Fact: American rock band Smashing Pumpkins used this film as inspiration for their award winning music video "Tonight Tonight". The ship which sails in at the end of the music video is named Méliès after this films director Georges Méliès.

Yes, I have that book. I also have the gangster and war versions of this book as well.

I already own and have seen a great many of the films listed. As for the rest, I will see them as and when the opportunity presents itself.

I don't have the book but I've only got 13 movies left to see from the list and out of those I'm only interested in seeing Himmelskibet, Godzilla (Which I watched as a kid so my memory of it is almost non-existent), Quatermass and The Pit (which I can't believe I still haven't got around to), Dark Star, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Tetsuo and The Brother From Another Planet.

I'm a police man sir, I don't have any feelings

I haven't seen the list, but I'm pretty sure I have seen over 90% of them already - very likely all of them. :-)
