STOP USING KIDS AS COUPLE IN ROMANCE MOVIES!

Who the heck thinks it's cute to have a kid dating someone? Or falling in love with someone? Or talking about having imaginary boyfriends/girlfriends? I know that some kids may grow up to think that because things such as they grew up with teenagers talking about them marrying somebody or something but I don't think they should make movies about kids thinking about boyfriends and girlfriends until they're 13 and dating until about 14.

DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR AGES, NOT USE COMMON SENSE, OR ASK CRITICAL QUESTIONS!

What makes those type of love stories cute it's because of the innocence they see romance like in My Girl.

Its cute seeing them thinking they loved each other because it made sense for them. They enjoyed their company and loved spending too much time together so for them that was love.

They see it in a much more simple way and it makes you laugh how both think being best friends is almost like being in love.

You sound jealous.

Older than 13 and 14, for the most part, but . . .?! still younger than 18, thus still children.

1968's "Romeo and Juliet"
and 1986's "Lady Jane."

(IMHO)two of the best romance films ever made.

This is one of that kind of movies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZggxsPi044, so I personally have nothing against :)

You sound like you have a kid you're trying to protect. As if you blame some movie your kid has seen, for this. If so, be more specific. Name the movie.

But be careful not to impose your values upon others. Young love could be the subject of a beautiful film, so I would definitely not rule it out. It would depend on the kind of love in that relationship of course. Whether somebody would be at risk.

Well, for your information, I do not have any kids. I'm only 18 years old and am too young to have kids.

I'm a bit surprised how you are posting this kind of stuff in a pretty old topic but I do like some films about young love that I watched when I was a kid.

Wake up, wake up, wake up, it's the first of the month.
