The best horror film you've seen this year?

Doesn't have to be from this year, but it has to be a new experience for you.

Probably Don't Breathe (2016) for me... the year is still pretty early I guess but considering that there possibly won't be any more boards in 2 weeks ya know

It's gotta be Split..

1. The Witch
2. The Neon Demon
3. The Green Room (more grindhouse than horror)
4. 10 Cloverfield Lane (suspense/horror)
5. Don't breathe.

Don't get me wrong, don't breathe was an entertaining watch once. Any analysis after viewing leads to the realization of tropes galore, inclusive of plot impossibilities. It will get essentially no awards, but was surely a box office winner nevertheless.

THE NEON DEMON, followed closely by THE WITCH.

I haven't seen anything amazing yet, but my favorite so far are Summer Camp (2015), I gave it a small 7/10.

Interesting, not seen or had big plans on seeing that but that does spike the interest a bit 👍
