i havent been scared for a while. i think grave encounters 1 and that film The tunnel had some spooky bits but since then nothing has had much effect, Babadook and it follows etc didnt work, though they were ok to watch. kairo and noroi i watched in the last few years and they were good but obviously older
so am i already jaded or are horrors not scary now

If anything I get more scared nowdays, which is pretty cool. The last one that creeped me out bigtime was The Visit.
On a different note, I'm playing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on Xbox atm and it's scary as f#ck I can barely play it for longer than 30 minutes at a time

They are mostly predictable these days which is a scare-killer for me. The older Asian ones are most likely better, though seeing Hide and Seek for the first time yesterday was kind of creepy and disturbing.

mate i actually watched the visit the other week.. and it was not bad at all, but it didnt touch the scares i got in previous years from your tbwp, hellraisers and the like, and nothing is at the moment.
i might have to give something like resident evil or alien isolation a go, interactive could be the way forward. i heard res evil games were more action orientated these days but this new one sounds good
