Getting scripts edited with y'all.

Okay, so, I posted about getting some of my scripts edited here, and the common theme of the replies was that everyone here wants that, too, and you'll all "too busy" to just edit someone's scripts, so what if we swap scripts, and edit the other's script? I have a handful I want to make sure are ready to go, and I'll start with just one, and I'd be happy to edit yours, too. Does this sound reasonable? Email swaps would be prudent, so let me know either on this thread to keep it up, or shoot me a private message and we'll go from there.

Forgive me, Father, for I have eaten my cast mate.

You would be wise to specify the type and level of edits you seek, and what you're capable of giving to others.

In fiction, the standard three rounds of edits are for content ("I don't like Jim. Can you make him less a douche, change how he acts in his scenes and add a couple where he's decent?" or "The pacing is so uneven I noticed it. You need to revise to hit the plot points much closer to the standard percentages."); for writing mechanics, grammar, usage; and proofreading.

I would assume a script would reasonably face the same edits.

Arthur, I suggest you do what people do on the screenwriting reddit when they want feedback.

Start a thread with FEEDBACK, the name of the script, genre, and number of pages in the title.

In the body of the post, put a logline and link to the work.

PS: You might want to post this on reddit, too. You're a lot more likely to get people willing to exchange reads there.
