Great series, the new criterion blu ray box set is basically a must own.

I just recently ordered the bluray set. Can't wait to revisit them. Excellent series indeed.
I probably would surprise many for my choice as # 1.

Interesting choice for #1. I liked all of them but felt White Heaven was the weakest one.

It might change when I revisit them. While far from perfect, I just remember enjoying 'White Heaven' because how outrageous it was and of course the backdrop.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of the last official theatrical film release in the series: Lone Wolf and Cub:Final Conflict AKA Handful of Sand (1992). As far as I can tell it`s not even listed on the imdb site. I was fortunate to have purchased a subtitled copy of it years ago and it is awesome! Not to be confused with the "new" film currently in production under the same title. This 1992 film is a real revelation and in some ways improving on the previous entries in the series. A true lost film treasure. Am I the only one who has seen this? Wikipedia mentions it on their Lone Wolf and Cub page.
