Any female directed movies in the top 250?

Can't think of one unless you count The Matrix where the brothers are now the sisters but they weren't at the time. Otherwise the highest I can think of is The Piano (7.6).One movie in the top 250 comes to mind based on a book by a female (Gone Girl) and I can think of one definite chick (Amelie). Can't really expect a lot of estrogen on the list given the demographic of IMDb voters. It'd be interesting to see a top 250 as determined by female voters to see how different it was but I suspect it would still be largely the same with most of the same films rated highly by both. I'm a guy by the way, I was just thinking of the top 250 and challenging myself to find a female directed movie in there and failed.

The #1 female directed movie is easily...

Point Break (1991) ; which is within my Top 69 movies in general.

that movie should easily be within the Top 250 in my mind.

p.s. in fact, there is only 210 movies i gave a 7 or higher out of the 2,000+ total movies i have seen. there is probably very little else within my Top 210 movies that are directed by a female.
