Mysterious Movie/TV Movie/TV Series about school teens adventure

Most likely TV series. I don't really remember much but it was on daytime TV so probably terrible and not really that scary. My best guess is that it came out 1990-2012

What I remember from the story that it was classroom of kids around 13-23, most likely gone to trip together, like a field trip. Trip started to go wrong, I don't remember that much what it was but... They started dying or their eyes started turning red or something happened to their face / head one by one and I think it was pretty mysterious.

I think near the end of the story there was only few of the kids left alive and then something happened that left only one alive but something happened to him and I think it was timetravel (or something) related ending that he found himself back in the classroom badly hurt if I remember correctly and he wanted to use his last powers to warn classroom not to go on this adventure, trip, island or wherever.
