Why is she wearing a microphone? Is it a filmed play?

reply

No, Francesca Amewudah-Rivers has a secondary job in telesales and forgot to take her headset off, she was also still on call to a customer during the scene where she had passionate sex with Romeo.

reply

Give her a raise. That's dedication.

reply

Yes it's a play.

reply

🫤

reply

It's actually not as bad as it could have been because this is a play and in plays the race or even the look of a person doesn't matter as much as it does in TV or Film. But still, people are so tired of DEI race swapping and she is so ugly and looks so unlike what most people think Juliet should look like (a young pretty White girl preferably Italian looking) that people can't help but hate on it.

reply

Romeo & Juliet has been race-swapped for years, especially in plays, especially in London. The settings have been modernised and edited constantly.

No-one gives a fuck

reply

That is the point I was making dummy. People used to not care because such casting is not unusual for plays, but because people are so tired of seeing diversity (interracial relationships) everywhere they now recoil when they see another example of it, even if it's not the best example.
I think what happened here is people on Twitter saw the picture and assumed it was a Romeo+Juliet movie remake and started sharing the picture around and it went viral.

reply

People don't care now regarding this. You have invented this scandal in your head.

>I think what happened here is people on Twitter saw the picture and assumed it was a Romeo+Juliet movie remake and started sharing the picture around and it went viral.

Stupid American anti-wokers keep thinking this has something to do with Hollywoods. News at 10.

reply

I would hit that.

reply

CAREFUL...THAT HOTTIE SHOOTS WEBS.

reply

You racist. There is another person in that picture. Look closer.

reply

With your axe?

reply

You read my mind.

reply

I was going to ask you if you're gay, because surely you could only be talking about Tom Holland and not that other creature that looks like a monkey, but Kowalski beat me to it.

But seriously, there are black girls who look attractive, but she ain't one of them. In fact, the funniest thing on Twitter was people fighting over why they hate her. Racists and anti-Wokes hate here because she's black, but everyone else claimed that they are not racists and only hate her because she's ugly. LOL

reply

I don't know. Look at that hand on his chest. Now imagine that around your cock. Plus that girl looks like she can break a dick in two minutes.

reply

Ok... You do have a fair point.
But still, what kind of racist would I be if I allowed myself to be swayed by your reasonable argument?
I got to keep up appearances bro.

White Power o/

reply

Right back at you with the Viking power! 🪓 ⚒️ 🔨

reply

Brother, if fate takes us today, we’ll feast together in the great hall of Valhalla. The mead will flow, and our valorous deeds will be sung for all time.

reply

We can talk about all the "wokes" we defeated till the skies turn black.

reply

Have you looked up anything about the production? Did you get upset with Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet too?

If you look at the cast, there are characters who are cameraman 1 and cameraman 2. I don't think Shakespeare included cameramen in his play.

Oh Romeo Romeo, where you at homie? You iz ma baby daddy.

Ummm....what are you getting at here? Because she is black she will automatically speak like an American?

reply

I don't actually think she's even is American. I think she's from the UK.
But I had to get some racist humor into the post so here we are. It's not my best attempt. I apologize.

It's funny that you brought up Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet. When it first came out I hated it. I didn't really know how to articulate why I hated it, I just hated everything about it except DiCaprio and Danes. I hated the way it looked and the diverse cast and the whole "updated for modern audiences" bullshit. It's as if I got a taste of "wokeness" 20 years before the term (in its contemporary pejorative meaning) existed. I didn't know what to make of it. I just found it repulsive. Today everything looks and feels like that. And today we call that "Woke".

reply

She's not American at all, that's why I was wondering why you posted what you did.

reply

Yeah, I just kind of used her as an excuse to flex on the coloreds. I didn't put much thought in that post. My bad. I'll try to do better.
