The Royal Family is illegitimate

Edward IV (28 April 1442 – 9 April 1483) was apparently conceived while his "father" was away, meaning he's not royal at all, he's the offspring of a commoner.

This documentary discovers the real heirs.

In light of this, the British should wrap up the royal family, given that they're just commoners.

Given all the technology we have now, there is still much debate about how Jeffrey Epstein died four years ago. How dafuq can anyone know what anyone was doing in the 1400s?

reply

LOL - so very true. Throughout history there have been heirs that have questionable lineage. Queen Victoria is the most recent one who comes to mind.

reply

I'm skeptical with history. Propaganda exists now. Why wouldn't it have existed back then as well?

reply

Propaganda…the most effective silent weapon ever in times of war and peace. Just talk enough shit about the other side and everyone will buy into it. It’s true.

reply

Yep. It's a trick as old as time, but at least now we're able to do the research with the internet.

reply

Exactly, we have the internet to put our total faith in. Lucky us.

reply

Not total faith, but we can at least take steps to at least confirm the accuracy of things.

reply

It’s all a big lie bro.
Let’s grab our fiddles while the city burns, I’ll bring a case of beer to the party👍

King Ralph, step right up!

reply

The whole concept of Royal-ness is a con in the first place, just like religion. No surprises that they have always colluded to prop each other up.

If "possession is 9/10 of the law", then what does possession for 800 years get you?

And seriously, these "historical sources" that say stuff like "Edward IV was born after his father had been away for 10 years" are never accurate, people put gossip, slander, and deliberate obfuscation into writing then as now. Imagine being a historian 1000 years from now, who's trying to understand 21st century politics from a random sample of internet political comments that survived, and trying to figure out what's reliable information and what's conspiracy theory and batshittery.

"Edward IV (28 April 1442 – 9 April 1483) was apparently conceived while his "father" was away, meaning he's not royal at all, he's the offspring of a commoner."

What difference does it make? The whole idea of "royalty" is just a big game of make-pretend in the first place. Some people a long time ago said, "Let's pretend that we're royal," and some other people said, "Sounds good!"

"In light of this, the British should wrap up the royal family, given that they're just commoners."

Everyone on Earth is a commoner, since none of us can, for example, leap tall buildings in a single bound, nor anything else that would be considered superhuman. One group of ordinary humans pretending to be "royal" is no different than any other group pretending the same thing. You just need to get lots of other people to play along with your game of make-pretend so that they will provide you with the wealth you need to make a good show of it, and the current British "royal family" has done that.

This isn't a documentary. It's speculation. Like a what if scenario.

reply

I don't think you understand what a documentary is.
