Guess the movie by its simple premise.

I'm bringing back my game from a few years back.

The rules: write a premise of an existing film. Keep the description as simple as you can without bringing up specifics. You can be deceptive, but it has to be accurate.

I'll start: A man wears a costume so he can infiltrate a house to get near 3 underage kids.

reply

Mrs Doubtfire?

reply

Correct.

reply

No offence to Allaby, but I was late to post my reply because I thought we were also meant to come up with a premise once we got the right answer. 🤷‍♂️

reply

You can post your own premise whether or not you got the right answer. Someone else could see your premise and want to respond to it.

reply

Okay, thanks. 👍🏼

reply

Mrs. Doubtfire.

Okay, here's mine: A teenage boy comes between his dad and mom, the latter of whom ends up making sexual advances on her son, all the while striking up a relationship with a crazy old man who was hired to build a bomb for terrorists.

reply

Correct.

Yours is Back to the Future.

Well done.

He doesn't get invited though

reply

His friend tells him to go though.

A neglected, feral child turns vigilante and tortures two criminals, by means of electrocution, attempted immolation, and the application of several heavy objects to vulnerable body parts.

reply

Good one..."Home Alone!" 😃

reply

Correct.

reply

Yeah, it's gotta be Home Alone.

reply

Yep.

reply

Two women go to drastic measures to maintain their beauty.

reply

Death Becomes Her. That synopsis is pretty on the nose though (assuming it's the right film). I like how misleading the OP's initial premise was.

reply

yes

I like this...let me try one real quick:
