I know there aren't many golfers here, but Callaway Golf released their "C4 Driver" in the early 2000s and it was disastrous for them. It wasn't constructed very well, didn't sound good, and they charged an arm and a leg for it. The failure and backlash from that driver helped allow TaylorMade to take over the Driver market for some time, until Callaway finally got back on track (I love Callaway clubs, FYI).

It will be interesting to see how successful this will be.

The reason why we do not have flying cars has nothing to do with the lack of technology; rather it's the lack of maturity on the part of the general public that is holding this back. Look at how people drive on the highways. Would you want this behavior occurring in the skies above your home?

Can you imaging two drivers (pilots?) engaging in road rage (sky rage?) over a residential area? Or someone who is too lazy to refuel/recharge the vehicle running out of power and crashing down in a densely-populated area? Or someone ignoring a no-fly zone ordinance because they think the laws don't apply to them?

There is too much potential for disaster with the narcissistic, entitled attitude that is becoming prevalent today. When people decide to grow up, then maybe we will see flying cars.
