Your favorite singer and/ or band era

As simple as that which is your favorite era of your favorite singer and or band?

For me my favorite era of Bon Jovi as a band musically is the 80s, however Jon as a Sex asymbol my favorite era of him is from mid 90s till mid 00s. Though I love the music of the band a lot in the 90s-mid 00s.

The best two Albums are definitely Slippery when Wet and New Jersey.but I also enjoyed very much Crush, Bounce and have a nice day.
Another point for the 90s would be how in that decade they had their most important power ballads : Always, Bed of Roses and this Ain’t a love song.

Tangerine Dream. 1970s. Really, it's from about the mid-70s to mid-80s, when they were on Virgin Records.

I wouldn't say they're my favorite group...but, the older I get, the more I appreciate Bread and especially David Gates. He's still alive...82 years old now. I was listening to "If" earlier today and playing along on the guitar (I love to play it as an instrumental...it's not that difficult to play...that picking pattern is musical genius, though). What a masterpiece that song is...from 1971, when I was 2 years old. How I'd love to compose something as purely beautiful as this song is:

Fine voice. Even had a few nice solo songs, like "Lorilee", which I especially love because it has a standard rhythm with jazz chords. He and his wife do the Bread fan get-togethers, and some are on YouTube. Only a few dozen, so one can get a question or two in.

Thank you for the information! That's great that he and his wife stay in touch with their fans like that. What a talented musician he is...and it sounds like he's a really nice man also (They don't always go hand in hand! 😃).

I enjoy music from all decades, but I would have to say music from the 70s is my favorite.

Oddly enough my favorite band is from the 60s - The Beatles.

Freddie Mercury will always be my favorite singer.

Lately, it's the ladies of 70s prog-rock.. Sonja Kristina from Curved Air, or Jane Relf (Illusion).. But also Fairuz. Jim Morrison. Karen Carpenter. The Stylistics. Eddie Kendricks. John Lennon.
