First Actor and Actress that comes to your mind when playing villain?

Christopher Lee and Louise Fletcher.

I don't remember ever seeing these two playing neutral characters let alone heroic.

reply

Dennis Hopper and Glenn Close

reply

I almost pick Hopper, but he did play lovable champ in Hoosiers.
But,amount of sick, evil psychos he played in his career was astonoshing. - Blue Velvet,Super Mario,Waterworld,Speed, even in Cool Hand Luke he was prisoner.

reply

He was cool as a villain!

reply

Sean Bean and I can't think of an actress who almost always plays a villain.

reply

BILLY DRAGO & ANNE RAMSEY.

Alan Rickman played great villain roles in Die Hard, Harry Potter and Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. I loved him as the bad guy!

I can’t think of many female actors who played great baddies but I suppose Lucy Liu in Kill Bill or Margaret Hamilton in The Wizard Of Oz would be good picks.

reply

Ralph Fiennes and Glenn Close

reply

No way.

Fiennes played romantic lead dozen of times

reply

Jeffery Dean Morgan - Negan in The Walking Dead
Kathy Bates - Misery

Oh! Lena Heady - Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones.

reply

WORST THING RICK GRIMES EVER DID WAS NOT SINKING THAT BLADE IN DEEPER WHEN HE SLIT THAT FUCKER'S NECK...I LOVE JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN AND THE GUY IS CHARISMATIC AS ALL HELL...BUT I REALLY COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT ALL THOSE SEASONS OF REDEMPTION...WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A RABID BLOOD SMEARED RICK SKINNING THE ASSHOLE.

reply

It was QUITE drawn out. The most frustrating thing about the entire series is they NEVER take the villains out when they easily could, like that bald, Alpha bitch.

reply

I KEPT WATCHING UNTIL NEGAN OFFED THE BITCH...BUT I DROPPED OUT SOON AFTER...PERHAPS ONE DAY I WILL FINISH.

reply

Ooof! Spoiler, lol. We haven't got that far yet, but I was thinking that was a potential possibility. My family and I are committed. We are gonna finish it.

reply

MY BAD...MY APPOLIGIES...YOU WATCH ANY OF THE SPINOFFS?...I LOST ALL INTEREST BEFORE MOST OF THEM STARTED SO I REALLY HAVEN'T SEEN ANY.

reply

No vorries. No, this is our first foray into TWD world. One of my daughters, her husband (they live with me) and I each take turns picking a series and we all have to adhere to the choice. So far we've done Lost, Peaky Blinders, The 100, Breaking Bad and I made them watch Game of Thrones. They didn't want to but ended up absolutely loving it. 😁

reply

Colonel Douglas Mortimer certainly is not a villain. One of my favorite Westerns characters. My favorite Van Cleef role.

reply

I was saying about his heroic roles

reply

Death Rides a Horse (1967) is my favorite but he’s a bit of an antihero in it.

reply

Dennis Hopper had a career comeback playing mostly villains in the 80s and 90s.
