What an adorable little monster!
When we went to the rescue pound a couple years ago and took in my little jet black Aussie Mini Shepherd we met a tiny French Bulldog named ‘Navy’ and boy did I want him!
At the rescue place (it was a no kill joint, they’d keep them alive forever if needed) they made my entire family visit to be sure that the family got along with the dog and my fuzzy little doggie liked us right away.
But I still think about Navy, that little Frenchie was a cutie, but he was a bit mean tempered and was not going to take any orders. My wife and kids preferred the little Aussie.
I should have taken both.
I have admiration and respect for people who foster/adopt rescue animals.

Some people really mistreat animals, it’s absolutely disgusting, some people are awful.
I’d like to take in a second rescue but my little girl was so neglected and locked in a cage alone for so long that when she found love and a big yard my place became her ‘wolf den.’ She’s violently protective of what she wound up with…nobody loved her and suddenly she was surrounded by petting and treats and a big garden to patrol.
I spend all of my non-working and commuting hours with this little beast and as much as I’d like to take another abandoned dog in she’s simply too aggressive and likely won’t put up with it.
