For those cool tiny cars man. Have you seen how roomy they are inside?
shareWhy are you asking us ? ;)
shareI think it goes back to the old court jester profession, and sort of evolved from there. But to answer your question, they enjoy being silly and making people laugh.
shareThat's my thought. I wonder when clowns became a scary thing. I'll admit though, that I had a couple of friends who were clowns in local parades, and it was hard to tell who they were under their clown makeup.
shareClowns became scary when we could no longer chop off their heads for being creepy.
shareAh, but what makes a person want to be a clown, instead of a standup comedian? Standup comedians can hit the big time, have their own sitcom or film career, but clowns are stuck in the ratty and fading world of circuses!
And I actually know a former clown! Okay, this was just a temp job where he put on a clown suit and waved at passers-by to attract people to a business, but I bet I'm the only person here who knows a clown!
Some people just have the natural trait of any great clown, large feet. You got to play the hand you're dealt.
shareBad potty training.
Town jesters were often threatened with death if they stopped being funny.
sharebecause they can't juggle for shit
