I had a doctor appointment today. My doctor ordered a blood test. She escorted me to the lab and I sat down in the small waiting area. From across the room, the nurse called, "are you Cheryl?"
My bewildered response was, "am I sterile??" 😲
In spite of our laughter, she managed to get the blood she needed.
Today I got a call from Physical Therapy. She said my doctor has recommended treatment for my left shoulder (probable rotator cuff issues - too much snow shoveling?). And I said, "right." Then quickly added, "I mean, correct." It got a good laugh from her. Dang, I like making people laugh! And hey, it's good for you to laugh!

When I was in high school I had a social studies teacher who was British. He knew I was a movie guy and asked me if I have ever seen a movie from Korea. Because of his accent, he added an "r" sound at the end of "Korea" like some Brits do. I was thinking, "what tf is a movie from career?" I asked him to repeat it but I still heard "career". He finally went, "you know, the country Korea."
