🧊 Winter fun 🧊

I saw this on the local news. Would you try it?

I would!

reply

I really dislike cold weather especially ice and snow but this does look like lots of fun. I'd give it a try.

I don't care for cold weather, but it's something one learns to deal with living here. Fun use for old bowling balls, though. There is a limit to what the temperature is. In the 20s or low 30s? Fine. Lower than that? I'll pass.

Funny. Speaking of old bowling balls...years ago, one of my brothers owned a hot-air balloon. One day, my dad coaxed him into giving him a ride. My mischievous father had smuggled some "contraband" onto the ride. He got said brother to fly over a nearby lake... and of course, dear old dad hoisted his bowling ball over the basket and bombed the lake. He was hoping for a big reaction. All he got was a mediocre splash, but the "kerplunk" sound was pretty good!

reply

It looks harmless so why not. I'm not much of a bowler though.

reply

It seems like you don't have to be any kind of bowler for this. Just a way to have some fun in the winter. I laughed when I heard the comment "turkeys don't slide very well."

reply

That looks like a lot of fun. I'm a winter girl so I'd certainly try it.

reply

Right? 😊 And it has to be cheaper than other winter pursuits, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

reply

For sure. You could even make one in your own backyard.

reply

I'd rather go ice yachting!

Looks like fun, but probably more expensive than ice bowling. 🤷🏻‍♀️
