10/10 Movies On YouTube For Free?

Christopher Walken's first movie. I love the writing. Funny. Shelley Duvall is in it. Can't even remember the names of the leading man/woman, but it's worth watching.

Not a 10/10, but a 9/10.

Great movie that I've been meaning to see again. Thanks for the reminder!

Looks good!

One I like is "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds" 1972
Directed by Paul Newman and starring Joanne Woodward and their daughter Nell

LOVE THAT ONE...LOVE PAUL...LOVE JOANNE.🥰

reply

It's definitely a sad movie, but features terrific performances. I think it's Joanne's best work. Paul really knows how to direct his wife well.

PAUL NEWMAN AND STEVE MCQUEEN ARE MY TWO SIDED SPIRIT ANIMAL...IN MY TEENS I TRACKED DOWN AND WATCHED EVERY SINGLE FILM MADE BY EITHER OF THEM...AT THIS POINT I OWN 90% OF SAID FILMS AND HAVE READ A DOZEN OR MORE BIOGRAPHIES ON THE TWO GREATS.

reply

They both possessed the sort of style and charisma that's hard to find in actors these days.

SAM ROCKWELL IS MY FAVORITE CURRENT ACTOR...I THINK HE IS FAIRLY CLOSE...IT CERTAINLY IS A RARE MIX.

reply

I think Daniel Craig is pretty close.

reply

Good movie. 7.5/10 and might check it out again. Interesting, I just finished that 6-part series "The Last Film Stars" about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

reply

I think it deserves a higher score than that, but I guess the subject matter is a bit depressing.

I enjoyed that series also.

reply

Yeah, I can't explain it, but I really love "Rachel, Rachel" and gave it the same score. I think I love "her". The first scene is great.

Joanne says how much she hates that character, and how much she hated doing it, how she can't watch it... I read that she's dying, which is why they released the documentary ASAP

This is more of 6/10(according to IMDb) but it’s worth watching

The Lottery 1996

I've seen that before the finale is very dramatic.

Great thread idea.

For horror fans, Hell House LLC (2015) is pretty solid.

Thank you. I plan on coming back to this thread when I have time for one.

youtube has over 400 film noir movies. a huge collection.

The last movie I watched on YouTube was Circle of Two/Obsession (1981). The story of the impossible love between a schoolgirl and a sixty-year-old painter.

It was one of Richard Burton's last movies before he died. It's a very odd plot, but I enjoyed it

reply

Sounds pedo-y.

A couple of my old favourites (some I had marked seem to have been taken down, ho hum)

Summer Camp Nightmare (1981)

Not a 10/10 but an interesting and hard to find film. I have it on VHS but I don’t think it was ever released on dvd. It’s a summer camp take on Lord of the Flies starring Chuck Conners. Very 80s.
