I don't think I do. I can play the piano, but only by ear. Way, way back in grade school, I played clarinet for a couple of years. I learned to read only very simple music. I've messed around with a few instruments - harmonica, baritone ukulele, guitar, played a real xylophone. Oh, and I crashed cymbals with a drum corp as part of their parade squad, but I was just faking it with them.

shareThis reminds me - last year at my granddaughter's school, the band played this song during their holiday concert. The slapstick player always did a stag leap at his slap moment. It was pretty funny to see him leap up from the back of the band and SLAP. He leapt high enough that you could see the extension of his legs. It got a laugh from the audience every time.

Sadly, no. My dad was a professional musician but none of it seemed to rub off on me.
shareI could sing when I was young. Sang on the stage a few times but puberty messed up my voice. As far as instruments go I tried piano and guitar but lacked the ability.
I can play and be an important asshole on stage. always wanted to make something with a magical sound but it doesn't seem to ever turn out that way.

But talent is not the same as education! I can hardly read sheet music, although a little knowledge of music theory doesn't hurt when you're writing.
