My longtime lady friend was reading a romance novel in the waiting room while I was recently undergoing cataract surgery. I was tempted to ask her why Fabio wasn't on the cover of the book but decided it was probably better to zip my lip.😁

I've been to a handful of romance novel writers conventions, and they've constantly impressed with their breadth of subgenres and readership. Some of the conventions are really specific - like a full weekend's worth of of supernatural Celtic romance novel writers seminars and workshops, for instance.
