It is the finding of this court of inquiry that Warrant Officer E. Ripley, NOC14472, has acted with questionable judgment and is unfit to hold an I.C.C. license as a commercial flight officer. Said license is hereby suspended indefinitely. Now, no criminal charges will be filed against you at this time, and you are released on your own recognizance for a six-month period of psychometric probation, to include monthly review by an I.C.C. psychiatric technician. These proceedings are closed.

‘You talkin’ to me? You talkin’ to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin’…You talkin’ to me?!? Well I’m the only one here, who the fuck do you think you’re talkin’ to?’

Travis Bickle had a ton of great, angry lines.

You probably already know this, but that was improvised by De Niro.

They keep talking about a possible sequel. I'd watch it. Can't hurt the original.

My favorite line in that movie is, "So how's the pimp business?" and it's something a friend and I would always ask each other when we'd meet.

I didn’t know that. Some directors won’t put up with any improv. Quentin Tarantino won’t allow it for instance, except if the actor is Sam Jackson…I guess you can’t tell a De Niro or Jackson level performer what to do lol, they always deliver the goods in their own way.

I’d watch a Taxi Driver sequel for sure, I’d like to think Bickle survived his wounds and maybe went for psych help at the Veteran’s Administration.

Does he live a more grounded life going forward or does he relapse to his violent PTSD leanings..? It could be a good story.

I'm thinking: "Taxi Driver 2: Death to Uber" (I actually started writing a short story years ago)

Many would agree with me that the movie that has the best quotes is Friday. And it has over 35 of them.

I’ll go with the The classic:

“I know ya don’t smoke weed, I know this. But I’m gonna get you high today cause it’s Friday, you ain’t got no job and you ain’t got shit to do.” ― Smokey

That’s a really good one! Tom Lister was a great bad guy, that dude died too young, I really liked him as a mean tough guy.
Ice Cube is good too, I like his performances in movies. He’d be real good in a war flick but he’s a bit older now.

Just a few weeks ago I showed my 15 year old son this movie, he loved it.

Niiice! Ice cube did Three Kings, not a war movie per say but still great.
