Lmao England can't even score against USA!

That's embarassing, it's your national sport. In America, it's basically a girl's game.

England were boooooooorrrrrrring!

The England fans are having a tough time in Qatar with the alcohol ban.

I was thinking the same thing about how pathetic the British team must be.

Unlike the guys, the American women soccer players are actually good and win.

Well it's a good job mp Great Britian team played today then isn't it

reply

It was a rubbish game. Usa played very well. They've been known as a good team for quite some time now so I'm not sure why you refer to it as "a girls game" .

Incidently, women's football is much better than men's (the England team at least).

I like ‘Girl Games,’ nobody is built like a horse so they work together. Ladies College Basketball
is just as good as the NBA…they play a team game with lots of passing and ‘showboating’ nonsense is not involved.

Lady College Hoops is pretty good!

Kind of weird of you bringing this up when the USA is 3rd in their group, have played 2 games and won none of them as well as only scoring 1 goal in those two games bringing them to a 0 goal differential. Iran is ahead of the USA, scored 4 times as many goals and one of their players just got arrested.

reply

It was enough to qualify for the knockouts so not overly bothered.

Results are all that matters in tournament football.

If you don't concede you can't lose

But I will give credit where it is due. America played well just lacked any real quality in the final 3rd.

reply

Reminds me that Englishmen or women hardly ever win Wimbledon.

Two things :

1. UK, including Wales, has less than 1/5 US population
2. Many Premier League stand-outs come from other countries.

The US/Iran match should be interesting.

Valid points

Cricket is the English national sport, not football (not an excuse, just an observation).
