It's kind of like everything else: some things/places are of more interest to one sex than the other.
Male here. I have noticed some women have gender non specific screen names so that can make it feel like there are more males. I tend to assume male unless a post tells me otherwise.

Hard to say, the women on this site seem to come and go sporadically, especially as a certain subset of the men on here have become louder. I'm one of them so I know what I'm talking about. When you think one of them has finally given up, they pop back up again at random from the mists of time. Right now, I'd say it's something like 80M:20F

Also, no to that weird generalization. Mostly because it understates the position that men who don't fight back aren't men, and women who do fight back aren't normal. But also because it just doesn't have any place in this conversation or relate to anything. That it's not actually true should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway just in case you missed that.

Correct, some beliefs aren't based on verifiable data, or are based on data that opposes those beliefs, and so aren't true. Comparing yourself to a flat earther seems odd, but appropriate given it's another out of place statement. Also correct, quantifiable things do exist. Not sure what you're trying to point out by noting that obvious fact, as it has no bearing on this discussion, but I'm glad you know this.

What? And I mean this literally, what are you saying?
You're the one that posed the idea that for women to be heard, they should shout over the top of the more vocal posters, with your vague reasoning being "equality". But those posters aren't just loud, they also talk a lot of nonsense. So what would be the point of not only sinking to the same level as those posters, but also adding to the nonsense? In what way would that equate to equality? As if this is a conversation about equality in the first place. It's not, equality has nothing to do with anything being discussed here. And who would that benefit? Not the women, just the men wanting attention, which is why so many are standing on their soap boxes spouting very loud nonsense.
And this is why women are not as present on this site as men. Because they get badgered for just being here and contributing, however little that contribution amounts to. Carry on though, you don't seem to be interested in talking to women anyway unless you're trying to "own" them. I was just trying to have a conversation, but you just wanted to pose a question so you could spark a debate outside of the original topic - when there's nothing to debate.
