Never lose your sense of wonder.

I won’t.

reply

Good song, I had to look it up, I am not familiar with the band Yeti.

The message seems to be that ‘to wonder’ is to be loving and caring…Give a lot of yourself away to boost others up but keep a bit of your strength to remain whole.

I like the message, it was a pleasant song.

reply

It was just a coincidence that Yeti had a song with that title. I was referring more to the fact that many people unfortunately lose their sense of wonder, which is a real shame.

reply

Oh, I misunderstood.
Nice song though.

Yes, I agree with you though, the human sense of wonder got us to the Moon, who knows where it might take us going forward.

reply

Yeah, it's a nice and jangly song.

reply

He didn't know it was not the song, Yeti still commented on it.

reply

My trick is to always keep it in the same place, right next to my wallet and keys.

reply

But what if you lose them too 🫠

reply

I have the same philosophy.

reply

A lot of people seem to lose it and get bogged down with everyday stuff.

reply

Life is too short for that. I believe in enjoying things as long as they are not dangerous, destructive, or disturbing the peace.

I keep mine activated by watching shows like this https://www.nbc.com/earth-odyssey-with-dylan-dreyer Nature never ceases to amaze.

reply

The BBC has some great shows, normally narrated by Sir David Attenborough.

Have been sitting on my front porch for awhile early this morning, trying to understand what this beautiful, bright, heavenly body is just above me in my western sky. It's too bright to be a star and there are no other stars presently visible. Maybe I can figure it out later today with my Old Farmer's Almanac.

PBS has a lot of good shows like this, too.

And then there's still Jack Hanna's Wild Kingdom, which seems to have been on the air forever.

You asking?

I was going to say, if you’re asking then I’m dancing.

Ready when you are.

I couldn't agree more and it's also important to stop and smell the roses, enjoy the little things like looking at clouds drifting in the sky or a beautiful sunset.

I never get tired of of gazing into the night sky and looking at stars and beyond. I truly believe someone out there is looking back at our Milky Way and wondering who is out there.

reply

Nice comment! I feel the same way.

Me, neither. A big reason why I continue to read non-fiction books. I like to learn about people, places, history, and nature.
