Bad time to be a genre fan.

I feel really bad for kids and teens today. Back when I was that age, I had Star Wars, Star Trek, Conan the Barbarian, Excalibur, The Terminator, Indiana Jones, and all kinds of pure adventure fantasy and SF to enjoy.

Now, all those properties are getting reboots, and the Marvel Universe has joined the array. There are more of those kinds of movies than ever before. You would think it would be a glorious time to be a kid.

But... All of it now is polluted by political propaganda. Nobody just tells a straightforward story for fun. It's all indoctrination and messaging to fit an agenda. And it almost always fails at the box office, but they still keep pooping it out!

Maybe someday all that crap will be left behind and kids can just have entertainment again without the brainwashing.

Reboots are okay if they do something different than the original. I don't want to see a frame by frame remake of any movie.

As far as superhero movies, I couldn't give a shit. I know they make a ton of money but there are too many of them in my opinion.

You fuck yourself. Your Woke movies are trash and nobody likes them. For every one that earns money, there are a dozen or more that flop. And Wokeness is the most intolerant movement that ever existed.
