Scenes you didn't expect

Since I saw the scene of the protagonists' car that never managed to go through the wire fence in Logan (2017) that I went like "Wait... that's new!" I haven't seen another scene quite like it.

Recently I rewatched an old Hong Kong movie called Hot War (1998) that has a scene I remember I was pleasantly surprised like the Logan car scene. It was a simple scene where the antagonist threw the protagonist into a large glass window, but instead of going through like in RoboCop, he simply bounced and the glass cracked. I was like, "Ok, that's not what I expected."

What do you have in mind?

I can't remember what movie it was, but I saw a scene where a woman was at a bar and she grabbed a beer bottle and hit a guy over the head with it. The bottle didn't shatter, and it made a "thunk" sound. The guy didn't fall to the ground and there was blood dripping down. So many movies would have had the bottle shatter and the guy knocked out cold. This seemed more realistic and I actually felt the pain of the bottle hitting his head through the screen.

Maybe they forgot to replace the bottle for the movie prop one but the director kept the shot in.

I don't think so, it wasn't an Alec Baldwin movie.
